Kellyanne Conway, President Donald Trump’s top stooge, has violated federal law in two televised interviews last year by using her White House position to weigh in on a political race, according to the U.S. Office of Special Counsel.
In the interviews, one on Fox News Channel on Nov. 20 and another on Dec. 6 on CNN, Conway “impermissibly mixed official government business with political views about candidates in the Alabama special election,” the independent investigative agency said in a report it submitted to Trump for “appropriate disciplinary action.”
In the report, the OSC confirms that Conway has indeed violated The Hatch Act:
“While the Hatch Act allows federal employees to express their views about candidates and political issues as private citizens, it restricts employees from using their official government positions for partisan political purposes, including by trying to influence partisan elections.”
“Ms. Conway’s statements during the ‘Fox & Friends’ and ‘New Day’ interviews impermissibly mixed official government business with political views about candidates in the Alabama special election for U.S. Senate.”
Trump’s circle of inexperienced swamp members are their own worst enemies. They consistently bring about their own downfall due to how ignorant and unsuited for the job they are. One by one, the Trumpets are falling off of their pedestals into the dirt pile that they themselves have created. After two violations, we can hopefully get rid of alternative facts lover Kellyanne Conway for good.
